The Christmas season is fast approaching, which means it’s time for holiday wreaths. The Nantucket Historical Association invites you to a “Crafting Holiday Wreaths” family drop-in workshop on Sunday, November 27, from 1 – 4 PM in the Whaling Museum. In the spirit of the season and running concurrently with the NHA’s Festival of Wreaths, families are welcome to enjoy over eighty festively decorated holiday wreaths and then attend this artistic workshop.
Together with NHA staff members, you and your family can create a new holiday tradition: a unique holiday wreath for your home, crafted entirely from recycled materials, including cardboard, ribbon, and bottle caps. All materials are provided; attendees need only bring their creativity This workshop is free with paid Whaling Museum admission.
